When we receive the body and blood of Our Lord, we become living tabernacles, housing the presence of the God-man himself. This is not the time to be looking around to see what people are wearing, thinking about the football game later that afternoon or developing a strategy for how to get out of the parking lot quickly. This is the time to rest with Our Lord who has so lovingly come to dwell within us.
