HELP CDO
A terrible typhoon hit my home-town, Cagayan de Oro, Philippines last Dec. 17, 2011. The latest count listed was 957 dead and 49 missing and is set to climb further as additional bodies are being recovered from the sea and mud in the neighbouring towns of Iligan and Cagayan de Oro. Most of the dead were women and children who drowned Friday night when flash floods triggered by a tropical storm ( Sendong or Washi) gushed into homes while people were asleep.
It’s so devastating and frustrating to be away when you wanted to help on site. So, I figured that is the least I can do to help my fellow Filipinos.
